March 12th, 2006

Dear Members,

Greetings and hope this letter finds you in great health. Our February 27th dinner at Tsu Nami was a great success with almost 40 members and guest participated. Due to prior business commitment I was away in Havana, our members and dinner were missed dearly. Our committee members informed me of successful dinner and great effort from J.W. Marriott team who have delivered their very best of gastronomic delight and service excellence. I congratulate them for a job well done and we will surely revisit J.W. Marriott again in future.

March 20th marks an auspicious date for La Chaine des Rotisseurs Bailliage de Thailande. Mr. Chandran Arul, Conseil Magisterial from Singapore has once again honored our invitation to perform an intronisation ceremony for Bailliage de Thailande. At an intronisation ceremony, we recognized our longstanding committee member and founding member of Bailliage de Thailande Khun. Kusa Panyarachun, Argentier National Honoraire de Thailande for his excellence service and dedications to La Chaine des Rotisseurs, and our Chancelier National Honoraire de Thailande Mr. Karl Buhr who has tirelessly served on our committees over 30 years! On behalf of the committee and members of Bailliage du Thailande, we extend our sincere gratitude for your service.

Our Bailli Delegue Honoraire de Thailande Khun Pongthep Leenutaphong will be officially sworn in as member of Conseil Magisteral representing Bailliage de Thailande. Promotions of Dana Caron as Chancelier National, I as Bailli Delegue National and seven new members will also take place on this date.

Gastronomic wise, Chef Martin Faist and Executive Assistant Manager Patrick Schaub is out to impress our members again, this time Reflextions by Chef Martin Faist will also be celebrating their newly received award “Best French Restaurant” in Thailand by Bangkok Dining and Entertainment magazine. Our thanks to Cannon Pacific Wines who has agreed to be our partner in wine indulging our members with selections of vintages and non vintages champagne from Laurent Perrier which will bubbles up our evening, this is a dinner not to be missed.

I'm looking forward to seeing you at our Gala Intronisation Dinner at Reflextions, Le Royal Meridian Plaza Athenee Hotel, if you have not booked your seat yet, please do so and please take time to visit our web site for upcoming dinners for our Bailliage as well as our sisters Bailliage, Pattaya and Phuket. If you should have any comment or suggestions, please feel free to send me your suggestion at
