Confrérie de la Chaine des Rôtisseurs
ASSOCIATION MONDIALE DE GASTRONOMIE BAILLIAGE DE THAILANDE September takes us to one of Bangkok latest venues in grillrooms RR&B (The Rib Room and Bar) on top floor of The Landmark Hotel. Chef Philippe with many years of experience is cooking up a storm for us at The Landmark RR&B. The first course features blue swimming crab Napoleon with aged parmesan cheese strike a good balance with our vintage Delamotte Blanc de Blanc 1997. Seared sea beam fillet will be served with Langhe Bianco, a light straw in appearance wine which features a hint of chalk and minerals with delicate balance complimenting the artichoke coulis very well. We liked the lentil soup in particular and are having a hard time pairing the wines to give it a perfect match! We came up with a unique wine from Rhone, Domaine Le Sang des Cailloux, Vacqueyras Cuvee Doucinello, which features ripe red fruits, currants with a hint of tobacco, and earth that compliments the soup very well. Our Ridge Lytton Springs is drinking beautifully and has truly enhanced variations of lambs for main the course. Dining at RR&B give you a beautiful panoramic view of Bangkok skyline that enhances your dining experience! Tastes from Hemingway's Travels
